★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shaheed Park also known as Chouk. A little place of greenery for we the people of ballia city as there is neither a park nor swimming pool nor a library in our bagi ballia. This place gives us a very very little peace of mind but around it the thela gari shopkeepers many a time encroaches and make the place dirty and noisy.many social activities do take place here like dharna pradarshan medical mela and exhibitions. I like this place.the lighting arrangement has become very good now a days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shaheed Park is a major landmark of Ballia Town and a very old park as a Memorial for freedom fighters like Mangal Pandey. Well maintained and properly illuminated. Opened recently. Opens in morning and evening. Now frequented by children and aged people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shahid park, the heart of ballia has a history related to freedom fighters and therefore it got its name. It has Gandhi Ji's statue at centre and fountains and grass surrounding it. People mostly visit during morning or evening times for a walk. It remains opened only in morning/evenings. Fountains are never maintained and non functional. Earlier there used to be several exhibition on flowers,plants, paintings on New year's. But now no event have been held since last 5 years.
