★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A budget hotel and dormatry .. ok for solo traveler if on very tight budget .. staff is very cooperative .. clean hotle ans doms.. being in Mumbai and charges they are maintaining well .. do not expect out of the box .. decent one
It was last minute booking .. hotel adjusted me well ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waste of money to stay here. They do not provide seperate non ac rooms, all people are there in single hall and beds are single but other person is just above you on the other attached bed. Instead of this take oyo hotel rooms there as many people can stay in single room.

They confirmed our booking even when there were no rooms available through make my trip and when we got on our train they called us that they were having problems with the room and told us to cancel our booking. Later when we cancelled they denied to refund our payment and threatened us. They are cheaters. Don't trust them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the boys, the fair, thin one from Assam was extremely rude to me and raised his voice at me more than once. The management should immediately look into this problem, otherwise this boy will cost future customers. The A/C was only kept on during night. There was a lack of sufficient lighting during the day. The bathrooms are very small considering there are so many people that share it. The check-in time at 2:00 PM is totally inconvenient and a ploy to extract more money by offering an earlier checkin. There were no chargers available near the downstairs bed which I was alotted, so had to use the upper bed chargers, which is very inconvenient. Overall, not very happy with my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shalimar Guest House, is walking distance from railway station. You can easily get rooms and also dormitory at cheaper price. But rooms are very small as compare to price and with no facilities. Even toilets are small as store rooms.
Don't worry you get different food options near to this guest house at very low cost with average quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is very very highly overrated place. Guys please take caution before booking the hotel as this is not as good as you may feel in the pictures. The locality is not that great. The dormitory is very congested with poor ventilation. A/C timings are only during night 10 to 6 that too it was switched off one day before time. All the other time its very hot and humid inside. Only one bathroom is there and 2 toilets for all the people present. Ambiance is very very average. So better think twice before booking and definitely do not go on the ratings given to avoid further discomfort.
