Excellent, unassuming and wonderful find. A wide variety and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with high quality presentation, service and inventiveness. A highlight of Gogeshgwari. Will not be disappointing, it's really worth it.
A name like place Shalimar. Good food with good ambience in one place is always a to go for. It's a Chinese, North Indian, Mughlai resturant with the best food around the town.
The dishes have it's own flavours and tastes which is one of the best part about this restaurant. The ambiance is so calming and the seating and placement is a comfort.
Menu has a wide variety of chicken and mutton dishes both. Food is classic and sophisticated. Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu.
Coming to the food what we ordered
Starters
1. Chicken cheesy kebabs: one of the best dishes of chicken I've had so far. A tandoor Chicken stuffed with cheese and the chicken was really juicy and the taste was really amazing. Highly Recommended!!!!
2. Chicken Hot wings: A sizzler cooked with spices so great and a smokey flavour which was a add on to the juicy chicken and it's soya flavours served with cooked vegetables in the same sauce.
Main course
1. Chicken chilly: It's a unique dish which is there speciality. It's a combination of mughlai and Chinese with a secret recipe and flavours which makes it really outstanding and a flavour not to forget!!! Must try!!!
2. Mutton Nihari: authentic taste and filled with flavours of the juicy mutton served hot and a combination with butter naan.
Desert
1. Chocolate Falooda: Specialty of shalimar. It was a loaded falooda topped with chocolate icecream and chocolate crushes and syrup delicious and delightfull desert after a heavy dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this restaurant with a friend late night which is located at Jogeshwari West SV road , The ambience and vibe is excellent and also they have good seating arrangements.The service and the food quantity is also good and the prices are reasonable.
Overall I had a pretty great experience there. The staff was polite with us and we were treated nicely. I will definitely visit here again and will also recommend this place to my friends and family.
