There are even shrines specially dedicated to Shani Dev. Among the planets we come across in the horoscopes, Shani takes the longest time to go around the sun and therefore stays in every zodiac sign for a longer time. Saade sati is the 7½ year period when an individual comes under the influence of Shani Dev according to his/her zodiac sign.
Saade Sati periods are generally believed to bring in a lot of difficulties to people during their lifetimes. A particular name given to Shani Dev addresses him Krura Lochana meaning the evil eyed one. It is said when Shani Dev casts his eyes upon an individual, the individual faces his/her doom or condemned to a pitiable state. However, as per the scriptures, the truth remains that Shani Dev is highly just and dutiful in distributing the results of action that are due to people as per their past deeds.
Shani Dev Mantra is a highly efficacious one in alleviating the sufferings people usually undergo during the Saade Sati period. The mantra beautifully describes the unique attributes of Shani Dev and invokes his blessings upon the one who chants it with devotion and diligence. The verse is rather very easy to understand and chant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is temple of lord Shani. It's located in Kalyan but in my opinion, it's near from vitthalwadi railway station. You can reach here by auto-rickshaw. There are some stalls. Usually this temple is not much crowded. Sometimes it's crowded specially on Saturday.
