This is a Shani Maruti Temple St the foot of Parwati Hill. It is managed by Shani Maruti trust. It is open from morning 5.30 to evening. It is closed during afternoons. It is very well managed temple. In past the temple was a very small old structure with tiled roof. The temple was renovated in to a very nice structure. The empty space in front is converted into a nice covered courtyard. The temple is thronged by devotees throughout the day. Various groups of devotees carry out various religious and cultural activities after taking permission from the trust. The place is maintained very clean. There is a lot parking space in front of the temple. Prasad is distributed on Saturdays and various auspicious religious days like Hanuman Jayanti etc.

Hindu Temple . Situated near shanipar,in the heart of pune , this temple is one of the oldest temples in pune . This is a temole of Lord Hanuman and lord shani . The trustees and the members of the committee of the temple are very enthusiastic about the festivals , especially Hanuman jayanti is celebrated with great enthusiasm . Sweet prasad is distributed on special days or on festivals . This place is very crowded on saturdays , so avoid a visit on Saturday . It is situated on a very narrow street and parking is not available for four wheelers , but a two wheeler can be parked on the street . Also many beggers are sitting outside . You can travel here using public transport as the bus stop is just besides the temple .

Located in a very densely populated area. Suggest to use public transport to reach here. Never think of driving a four wheeler here. Parking and driving will be a big headache.

Shani Maruti Mandir is located in Sadashiv Peth bang on the Bajirao roa d. The very famous food joints like this Desai Bandhu Ambewaale, Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale and Patankar Khawuwaale are nearby. Temple is quite old. There are two idols one of the Lord Maruti and another of Lord Shani. There is also a big Peepal tree which is preserved while restructuring the temple. Temple is not so big. On every Saturday, also on Pornima and Amavasya there are lots of Shani and Maruti devotees in the temple. There are also small vendors selling oil, coconut and garland of Rui plant which is offered to Lord Hanuman and Lord Shani. There are also small Idols of Lord Vitthal Rukmini, Goddess Lakshmi and Shivalinga. This temple is a measure land mark if you happen to be in the heart of Pune city. Do visit on Saturday and get the blessings of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shani.
