★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ideal place for family get-together. This Shiva temple is one of the best in and around Puri town. As it is in the outskirts of the town, there is no noise pollution. And full of shade of tall coconut tress. Compound is very good and big enough to accommodate more than 200 people. The priests are very helpful and can cook pure vegetarian meals by order. There is a pond in the temple premises. One can bathe if interested. There is a mini parking lot for four-wheelers and bikes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As per legends( local peoples ) once a cow-herd noticed that a particular black cow used to drain her milk on a particular place every day . He/they dug the place a recovered two linga ( shiv linga ) and named them as KHIRESWARA ( KHIRA - MILK , ISWAR - LORD , AS HE USED TO BATH WITH MILK ) another is SANKARESWAR ( LORD SHIV ) .
Good place for locals for BHANG MAUZA ( friends gathering to take bhang ) and Shankrati feast .

It is near Lokanath Temple, Road to this temple is also well concrete. ??
On the main Square U can see a big statue of Vrisava ( Nandi ji ?? )
Less Traffic and Less Noisy Area. ??
