Shantanu Gupta is an eye surgeon and the best retina specialist in Varanasi at Shantanu Netralaya. Here are highly skilled doctors, polite staff, the area was a high level of hygiene. I am happy with the work of Dr shantanu gupta ji.

They also have all latest equipment’s to ensure best in class treatment for their patients with minimum cost. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpful nature, consultation is well explained. Had a problem with redness in eye and as explained by doctor shantanu gupta it healed in a matter of 2 days. Also not overpriced. Waiting time is around 5 to 10 minutes. I went on Saturday first half.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best place for Eye Treatment - I am writing this review after waiting for 4 months. I had an Uvetis attack in my eyes in sept I met Dr Rajesh he has given me eyedrops but I didnt had the confidence & I consulted the other Dr and my case was ruined and than again I circle back to Shantanu Nethralaya and met Dr Shantanu, he did all the test, he explained everything in detail and with lot of patience. Ultra Professionalism. Even the support staff, they can easily charge me fees in all my visits but they clearly mentioned that no fees required if its within a period. Test Rates are displayed properly. Cleaned & Hygenic place. Very much approachable on Whatsapp to clear all your doubts. As a patient this is the experience which we are looking for. To get this professional experience from small cities is what we are looking for.
At the end I just want to say Thanks to Dr Rajesh Sir & Dr Shantanu and entire staff. I wish I not to visit you again :) but if required Shantanu Nethralaya is the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't want to give even a single star. I found the senior doctor in this clinic very rude but I am sure other doctors might not be like him.
The senior doctor here got angry when he found out that we had visited other doctors before him. We did so because the other doctor had mislead us by recommending immediate operation when everything was fine.
But this doctor he was insulting us by saying that we should have known everything about the disease beforehand.
Sir we don't have medical expertise like you that is why it is called medical consulting. You don't question those who have come to consult you rather you should clear their doubts.
Very rude behaviour plus he asked for 200rs. Money if we want to get eye pressure checked. I haven't seen this anywhere.
Very pathetic experience. I'll never visit this doctor again and I'm not going to recommend anyone to visit this place.
