 Shanti India School provides 310 children from the most disadvantaged classes of Bodhgaya with free quality education. You can visit the school via skype (shantindia1) and see the wonderful work accomplished by a team that puts all its heart and energy into lifting children out of poverty and giving them every chance to build a brighter future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Tara Guest House for 6 weeks. They greeted me warmly & I treated like a family member, caring for me every day. The staff and children were the highlight during my vacation. So loving, lots of fun & laughing. Place is so clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shanti India school which was guided by Anuj Kumar, who works as a project manager, manager in the hotel as well. Anuj is such a warm personality and highly motivated to support underprivileged children (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed visiting school.

It is a region of agriculture with no industries or alternative job possibilities.

Thank you so much to have decided to transform Shanti India Tutorial School in to a full time school in 2015. We are very Happy to work with the underprivileged children of Bodhgaya. I have been working as a science teacher at Shanti India school since 2008 and I feel the changes we have brought withing children. We have got this inspiration from Our Director Dominique Valli.
