Great devotional temple पावसाळ्यात भेट देवून एकदा निसर्ग सौंदर्याने नटलेला परिसर पहावाच The Baleshwar range is the second great spur of Sahyadri which branches off at Ratangad at distance 11 km, south-east of Kulang and completely traverses the Akola and Sangamner taluka forming the watershed between the Pravara in the north and the Mula in the south. The range culminates with Baleshwar as a central mass, whose summit has been crowned by a temple in Hemadpanthi style now in ruins and surrounded by spurs radiating from the center in all direction. This peak is of the height 1156 m. An isolated hill at the end of one of these spurs extending to the north, west is the fort of Pemgad. Between Baleshwar and Hevargaon (Devgadd- Temple) is the last notable peak in the range. This peak is across Chandanapuri valley and near Pune-Nashik Highway from the east of Hevargaon the hills decrease in height and finally subside in the open plain to the west of Rahuri. This range is about 100 km long. In that region Jawale Baleshwar, Sawargaon Ghule, Pokhari Baleshwar, Pemgiri and Sawarchol etc. villages are located.

I loved this place. This place is located on pune nashik highway near VARUDI PATHAR FATA. It's third highest spot in maharashtra. The scenery around is astonishing. The beauty of the nature can be felt best in the rainy season. Now the main spot is a lord Shiva temple. The main temple is spacious , can accommodate 50 people in outside sitting area , and 1000 people in open space area. There are 2 ponds created infront of the temple, one is for drinking but doesn't seems to be. There is chandan wood kept in open space near pond for everyone for applying gandh. Overall, you will enjoy the journey to the temple and view from the top.

Peaceful place.. with a view of all around plateau area with greenery everywhere. Monsoon best season to visit. Hilly area with pink blossom in pre spring.. ! . Recently visited this place in nov'19 , it was soo satisfying to be there..the greenery spread all over after so many years was the bestest scene...do check the pictures.
