At morning its better not to go from ferry Ghat because due to heavy fog the fairies are not able to go from this shore to another soo ferries are losing their direction just because of this fog ... please don't use ferry ghats at morning time ... After 10'o clock everything is fine ...but at morning 6 7 8. Its really dangerous... Stay safe ❤️

From 4:30 to 9:30 in every minute there is a boat waiting for you. Ticket price 5 rupees. Before lockdown l usually visited here atleast twice a week. Love this place and the service. From Sheoraphuli Railway Station it took 4 minutes to come at the ferry ghat and all type of transport facilities available at the other side, it took 15 minutes to go Barrackpore from the other side of the ghat.

This ghat is very close to the Seoraphuli Jn. One can easily walk and reach the ghat amid the bazar road, from the station. It hardly takes 10-12 mins. It's convenient for crossing the Ganga river as well as in terms of saving money. Cause the fare costs 6rs only to cross from Seoraphuli Ghat (Hooghly) to reach Barrackpore (24 Pgns North). It hardly takes 6-7 mins. The view is beautiful during the mornings and evenings.

Luggage and goods also allows but they take some extra charge. They maintain covid guidelines.

It's start in the morning 6.00AM and the last time was 11.00PM If people want to cross the river after 11 pm they have to buy special ticket. After the Covid19 situation maybe the special ticket stop by there authorities.
