★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good family restaurant with AC section. Reasonable prices. Polite staff. Quick service for popular dishes like set menu thalis, but waiting time is more for tandoori items unlike Punjabi dhabas. Service in disposable paper plates, bowls and plastic cutlery. Ample parking space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best place to grab a mouth watering meal ?. The place is packed up a time and might ask you to wait for a bit before you could take a seat, the wait it worth it. People say it takes time for them to serve the food, but in our case it was served quite quickly. The food here is heavenly, and I would certainly recommend this place ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for breakfast or snacks. Way better than Sher e Punjab. Try it out, you won't regret. Also don't forget to try the cheese chicken sandwich. It's not in the menu card, so you will have to ask for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sher Bengal Restaurant is located in Mecheda, a few minutes drive from Kolaghat. They have 2units in either side of the highway. So it doesn't matter which direction you are traveling, the restaurant will fall in your side. Variety of dishes are available like Indian, Chinese, Tandoor to simple Macher Jhol Bhat. Food quality is quite good. Price is average. There are both AC and Non-AC sitting option, price is little higher for AC sitting. Behind the restaurant there is a banquet for marriage s, parties, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite a commendable restaurant, situated on the national highway, en route to Digha or Mandarmoni. With two branches on either side of the highway, you get the option to choose between two restaurants for dining. They serve good quality breakfast, lunch and dinner. During my visit I was quite impressed by their hospitality, food quality and order serving time. Sher Bengal has got both AC & Non-AC dining halls. Washroom is available at the ground floor. Additional amenities include a swing & complimentary parking zone. Recommended.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This dhaba is before Kolaghat and the famous crowded Shere Punjab on the way back to Kolkata. Food is good, it has AC section too and cleaner washroom inside here. Good parking space also.
