★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To say that I was disappointed by their service would be an understatement. It is my misfortune that I chose to get their Bridal MakeUp & Saree draping package for my own wedding day. I chose it because my sister had used the same service a decade ago from Shirley and came out looking like the queen she is, only more gorgeous. But since then the entire staff of Shirley has been changed atleast thrice. This new batch is the absolute worst. I came in for a 2:30 appointment and my make up was done twice and removed twice because it was horrible, which they also acknowledged. I was told that it was so layered up and cakey because my skin is very very dry. While I understand that my skin is no alabaster, it is the job of an MUA to highlight and accentuate the positives and minimize the negatives. The third time they applied my makeup it was still disastrous but I had to go forward with it as it was already 4pm and I had to reach the venue at 5pm. They put so much concealer (which they insisted was absolutely required) that my mom and cousins rubbed off layers with tissue when I reached the venue. I was almost in tears but thankfully my parents and family came to my rescue and redid my makeup on the spot. I wanted a Bengali bride chandan design application on the forehead, and they did not have it. I was assured beforehand that they had all the equipment they needed, they made the ugliest design with stickon bindis, it was disgusting. Please mention if you do not have the required makeup, so the client can procure their own for you. To top it all off, they were constantly cracking jokes and belittling me in their own native language. Such horrible and rude service for the price of 10,500 Rupees. I know money is no matter for a milestone moment, but if you are going to do such a pathetic job please charge accordingly. Or just shut shop. I will never come back to this place and I will strongly recommend against it to everyone I meet. You are the absolute worst beauty parlour I have ever been to in my 29 years of life. Once again, you should shut shop.

Shirley herself is there to consult if you have any query. I would recommend Shirley Beauty Salon for all beauty services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi, I am giving this review pretty late post my satisfaction that they are regular in best services and not just for first service.
So since few months from lockdown I am regular in Shirley and must say they have incredible services with maintained good quality. Undoubtedly no fluctuations. The first time I entered the salon for a small service of upper lips, but the kind of service I received, I was totally impressed. I have it another try with my waxing and without a doubt wonderful. Not just the service but they ensure that you are comfortable during the service also that you are satisfied. They suggest best options if the service is not suitable. I of course had a dispute as well once over my cold hair since I am a REALLY fussy regarding my services but I must say, they not just handled it very well but eon my heart with their attitude. They not just calmed me down but really ensured I leave happy with what I expected. If it would have been any other salon, by now I had stopped entering the place. But Shirley and her team totally won me.
I surely going to be their regulars, no matter what now.
Very positive attitude, very humble and right people in her team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Shirley for the past 30 years (previously at Gurukul and now Galaxy, as my new house is closer) and I still continue to go there. All their services they do with utmost care and are really good at it. Everyone who works there are very friendly, caring and experienced. Once had got my hair coloured, while washing the beautician explained to me the reason why it is important to get yr hair washed twice after colouring it, she explained it so precisely, she didn't have to but she did, and now i make sure i wash it twice :) I go there for everything, haircut, hair colour, hair treatment, perming, oil massages, waxing, facials, etc. i even got my ears pierced there :) my favourite is the hair massage, best ever :) I definitely recommend Shirley 100%, great service at a reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a regular visitor at Shirley since past 9 years. Must say it is a long time for someone to stick loyally to a single beauty salon. It is not that I have not tried the services at other high end as well as medium range salons. Since past four five years a number of big names have entered the Ahmedabad market and we as customers have got s huge range of choices. Hence once in a while one is tempted to try a new place or service, but honestly speaking I just cannot settle with anybody else. If it is a facial then no other than Shirley. If it is a pedicure and manicure it has to be Shirley. These are the three major services for which I am a regular at this Salon and every single time I go back with a huge feeling of gratification. The ambience is also very peaceful, highly clean and hygienic and very well laid out. All the girls are very well trained, welcoming and highly professional and silently go on about their work and give you the best and prompt services. The rates are also very appropriate giving you value for money. My personal favourites are Mary and Sharon although others like Soring, Elsa and Esther etc are also really good. Mostly North-East Indian staff recruits who are doing a fab job. I would recommend anybody reading this review to go for either their Gold or Diamond facial once and I promise you will be hooked.
