★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the oldest and still traditional cooking at Shiv mishthan. I went in for breakfast. Bedmi puri and jalebi. The carrot pickle caught my tongue and it was amazing.

Shiv misthan bhandar is famous for its brekfast offering since ages.
It offers a decent and clean dining space with quick service. The 3 main items on their list are
1)Bedmi poori- Piping hot crisp pooris are served along with a flavourful but light aloo ki sabzi, some chole and pickles.
2) Nagori halwa- Even crispier small size pooris are served with an aloo chole mixed sabzi and mouth watering nagori halwa.
3)choley bhature- hot and fluffy bhaturas are served along a nice and robust chole preparation served along with onions and pickles.
They are know for their bedmi poori and nagori halwa and if you dont reach early there are chances you could return empty handed.
A plate of bedmi poori and nagori halwa costs a cheap 150 bucks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit if you wish to gorge on crisp jalebi and kachori aloo sabzi. All preparations are made in Desi Ghee. The jalebi here is much better than the old jalebi wala

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a good place for bedmi poori - old delhi style - Price of Rs. 90 on higher side - perhaps due to use of Deshi Ghee. Jalebi is also good but not comparable to Jalebi wala at the corner of Dhariba in chandni chowk. Samosa is fine. All are good. Will visit again.

This place is again very old shop in the heart of delhi Chandni Chowk serving lip smacking food you can get Bedmi Puri, Aloo Kachori, Halwa etc.
For those who never tried bedmi puri its a kind of puri only but stuffed with thin layer of indian spices and aloo. But trust me friends this place is famous for jalebi i bet you will. Not get better jalebi than this in whole chandani chowk.
I have been there recently only issue i find is hygiene and cleanliness its missing in shiv mishthan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the famous food joint of old Delhi, I have been there once with my students and tried kachori, it was good in taste. If you are in old Delhi don’t think about prices, all food joints are superb in taste and pocket friendly here. One the biggest drawback is that parking space, it’s better come with public transport here and avoid personal vehicle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent preparation of Bedmi Poori with Aloo ki Subji and Chole along with Achar. These are real tasty. The Poories are real crisp and taste awesome with aloo ki subji. The place is about 9 minutes walk from red fort red light in chandni chowk. You can take a battery operated auto rickshaw who will charge Rs 20/- to take you there from the Chandni Chowk metro station.Apart from Bedmi Poories, they serve excellent Nagori Halwa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1000 times better than The Jalebiwala. Hot and crisp moderately sweet Jalebis. Other things are also prepared in Ghee. They have a small restaurant also for dine in.
