★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best tourist place in sambalpur...such a scenic place...full with natural beauty....it is situated at a high altitude..area ...above the mountain....about 222 steps are there...to go to the temple at the top...above the temple at the peak point you can enjoy the beauty of entire sambalpur city looking from above the temple...well adorned temple....calm place....great photo spots are there....as it is on the near of sambalpur town it can be easily accessible by bike car etc...overally a must go place in sambalpur....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is situated on a hilltop and there are steps to reach there. Going through a gate from the main road, you can take a 10 minutes walk to the top of a small hill. There is a great festival on every Shivratri. One has to stand in a queue due to the high number of pilgrims. Soothing atmosphere heals you and makes you forget all sorts of worries. Definitely visit the place if you're in Sambalpur. A Shiva temple is here and the Siva named as Baba Kosaleswara. Visited here in September, and the view is blocked by the trees. So, I couldn't see the city from the hilltop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unhygenic surrounding with foul smell. The temple is not well taken care of. The kudo fish are awesome. Buy their food and feed them. But the temple inside river is also in bad condition. District authority should take care of our heritage and devotees too should take care of its cleanliness and hygiene
