★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting this temple since childhood. Earlier it used to have an old world charm since it was located in a nearby place surrounded by lush greenery & many trees. But urbanization forced the movement of temple to the new site where it currently stands - opposite side of the older location. In older times people used to say the main deity in the temple was installed by King of Vizianagaram for their daily pooja, nearby his summer palace.
