★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice and pleasant place. Your soul and mind will be relaxed. The good time to visit in afternoon, you can feel the calmness. It's kind of out of stress, worries. The mind blowing breeze will heal all your worries. You can lost yourself in the spiritual feeling of Lord Shiva.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shivji's alankaar on festive days does bring a lot of soothing effect to devotees' eyes and I have been fortunate enough to have visited it many a times. Unlike other temples in the city that are short on space, this temple is a serene and airy place for someone to be at peace while offering prayers to God. A word of caution though, it does get a little crowded on Mondays and on certain festivals, but there is enough space, thanks to an open ground in front of the temple, to accommodate even that festive rush.
Good enough hygiene is maintained by the temple authorities, and even people who live/work nearby offer a helping hand in maintaining the surroundings neat and clean. That being said, some littering happens on festive days and as responsible citizens we must play our part in cleaning it up.
Serpent god/goddess or Manasa Devi(in some cultures) present here has a special place in the hearts of people living nearby.
