★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very bad experience with their security guards they are goons and almost they harrash us and threat us. Their back door security is like goons and they threat women and child in night and asking money I suggest not to book shivana banquets as this place is not safe for family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The banquet deserves a five rating when you think of the interior, the view you get, the roof top, the location, the cleanliness but my rating is a '3-star' considering the inconsistency in what the management tells you when you book the banquet and on the date of the event. For example, we were told the parking fees is free but then it was told that due to covid the regulation has changed and we had to pay around 3000 bucks for parking over and above the charges of the banquet. The amount is not the factor but when you get notified of such a change on the day of the event and you are told it is non negotiable, it becomes a huge problem, which I suppose no one wants to face.
One thing that you can be guaranteed though is excellent interior decoration by their in house decorator - The Star Decorator. The Owner of the decoration house, Mr. Biplab Das, is a sincere and wonderful man who would take care of your choices and decorate the hall, roof, gates exactly the way you want him to. His decoration really impressed all of us and he is accessible and would meet all your decoration needs. Overall a good place to book for your special occasions but ensure all the tiny points are discussed and agreed in writing by the banquet management.

Ambience is good but the place is ideal for 100-125 guests, not more than that.Also it is good for reception not for marriage.The location is very good and can be accessed easily.Overall it is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: Beautiful breathtaking views especially during winters, well maintained and big space with two floors with a capacity of accommodating 500 people, clean washrooms, friendly staff. Great decorator: Mr. Biplab Das. A big shout out for this in-house decorator. He did everything as promised without much supervision at a good cost. He is a very nice person.
Cons: Hidden costs which you should be careful of such as gas charges, separate charges to be borne by the caterer if you don’t opt for the in-house caterer, huge parking charges as you will have guests who will bring their own vehicle as the location is far away from the crowd and pretty deserted other than office hours. Frankly the parking charges are a bummer as the guests were pretty annoyed with this. This was never communicated earlier that we will need to pay charges for parking. Also there is only one small room for makeup which does not accommodate much. So multiple people getting ready in that small place is a challenge. Plus you have to go to the top floor to access the bathroom which was a challenge for me as in between makeup I had to take the stairs to reach up as the lift was being used by my caterer.
