★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arjuni/Morgaon is a taluka place. It was part of the Bhandara District. The district of Bhandara was divided in 1999 on 1st of May and the district of Gondia was Created. Thus the said taluka because part of Gondia. It was a rural populace. The tribal people reside here at large scale. It is under naxalites influences. Although a place of taluka there was no higher education institution until 1990. The poverty stricken parents could not afford higher education to their wards. Mainly, girls were drastically wanting of higher education opportunities. Shri Shivprasad Sadanand Jaiswal dreamt of availing higher education to the deprived of the taluka. After his demise in an accident, the college was established in his name in Arjuni.
