The pranaprathishta of the Ayyappa temple was consecrated on 14th January, 1986 by Shri Attupurathu Govindan Nambhoothiri.
The foundation stone of the temple was laid down on Thiruvonam Day of Chingam i.e. on 07 September, 1984.

Summer: Daily Pooja: 05:45AM to 09:30AM and 06:00PM to 08.45PM
Winter: Daily Pooja: 06:00 AM to 09:45AM and 05:30PM to 08:30PM

On Saturdays the temple trust committee also offers free annadanam (free food) for all devotees attending. Very nice experience.
Ideal to rely on personal transport. Not a well connected location.
