वडाळ्याच्या सीमेतून पालखी नेऊन गावावर
येणारी इडा पिडा टळो असे साकडे ग्रामस्थांतर्फे
घातले जाते.पालखी मार्गावर भाताची शिते
टाकण्याची प्रथा आहे. पूर्वी वडाळ्याच्या रस्त्यांवर विजेचे दिवे नसल्याने कंदील,
गॅसच्या बत्तीच्या उजेडात निघणारी ही पालखी गूढतेचे
वलय निर्माण करत असे. पालखी आली की आया मुलांना घरात कोंडत.
त्यामुळे मुलांना देवासोबत भुतं नाचतात की काय, असे
वाटे. हे या गूढतेचे कारण होते. मराठी समाजासोबत ख्रिश्चन आणि इतर
धर्मीयही या सोहळ्यात सहभागी होतात.
Shri Bhairavnath is the Gramdivat of Vadala. Every year, the palanquin of Bhairavanatha passes through the village of Wadala.
