I ordered furniture on 5th April 2021 and paid for it immediately. Due to lockdown, the delivery got delayed by a month. That was okay! After waiting for more than a month and paying firsthand the following events happened:
I. The furniture guy said he has everything ready, as soon as the lockdown is over, he will deliver. It was mid-May now. Nothing got delivered.
II. Later, after the lockdown was lifted. He said, "Some work is remaining. Will deliver everything in one week." That was a complete lie.
III. Had to call him to remind him about delivery. He said, "Everything is loaded, I'll deliver everything in half an hour."
No delivery on that day as well. Shamelessly denied the conversation that happened the previous day.
Fast forward to June. 2 months passed since I ordered, still no delivery.
Every time I called, he would lie. 2 more days, 3 more days. All lies.
In June, he delivers 2 out of 5 orders.
I. I went to his shop on Monday, 28 June 2021. He said, "I will deliver the rest of the furniture by Sunday. If not then I'll give you your money on Monday."
II. On Monday, 5th July 2021, I called him asking for the money. I was no longer interested in the furniture now. He lied to my face straight, shamelessly, he said, "I said the shop will be closed on Saturday Sunday, I will deliver on Monday."
III. On Tuesday, he delivers me the remaining furniture in a poorly structured and unfinished way. I gave up. I politely requested him to return my money and take his defective furniture back. After all this waiting I don't receive my product.
I don't have a problem with the delay. The times are bad, I understand that. But lying and that too these many times? He lied on every call. That's utterly shameless. I will never buy furniture from here ever again. He does not know how to do business. He will lie to you. He will not care to explain. He will not reply to your messages.
Even after reading this if you want to buy anything from him, it's at your own risk!
