★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surat is known for its snacks delicacies like khaman dhokla, fafda, jalebi, alu puri and it's varieties, khausuey, ghaari, pok vada(available only in winter's) etc ...
Known for its tasty Alu Puri and Rasa waala Khaman we decided to try them both on the lovely occassion of Utrayan.
Rasa waala Khaman (Khaman with Gravy) - the mixture consisted of Khaman dhokla crumbled and topped up with green onions cabbage red onions and Corriender, the same was accompanied with the rasa (the gravy) which was dark and loader with spices and more or garam masala.. Although they complimented each other but the gravy was to powerful which overshadowed the khaman - (3/5)
Alu Puri - A different version of the sevpuri in surati style, Soft Puri made of wheat flour topped with Alu Chole Gravy (Potato & Chic peas), Red Onions,Tamrind and Jaggery Chutney & Sev. We have had better Alu Puris @Rander, Surat but this was good too - (4/5)
And don't forget to have them with Surat's local drink "Sosyo".

I dont know why people are going there to eat Aloopuri.
We have many better options in Navsari rather than this one.
Personally i dont recommend to eat aloopuri here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place in Rander area to have alupuri . Being a foodie, I would advise you to have alupuri from here. They are best of the best in their business and they know how to handle customer. You will have authentic taste here.
If you are a tourist, then please don't have alupuri from any roadside shop they are just there to have some money.must visit

Near to iscon mandir, jahangirpura
One plate khaman is enough for one person.
Test of aloopuri and rasa vala khaman is nice.
Visit one time to eat those delicious food.
Around 12 o'clock aloopuri stock may over so take care about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality has been degraded from what it used to be years back, 0% Customisation, they will ignore you and make however they make generally with random spices and sometimes different taste altogether. Still better than other Alupuries in the Area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a nice time and the aloopuri varities are really good. Only down side is they close very early by 530pm or 6pm, and this matters as it's on the outskirts of the city. Would be really gr8 if they are atleast open till 8pm.

Nice Aloo puri. Based on twste and quantity. Good to try. There are many vendors nearby who provides more tasty and live aloopuri.
I prefer to eat Live aloopuri Near Morabhagal Brts Circle and one opp. to Subhash garden. Red Food cart.
