★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Earlier the alupuri of ganesh was just amazing but as they got famous by time the taste is not like before + hygiene is not well managed, also they increased the price & still not like before. I went to eat there after 2 years & the taste & quality has decreased too much. Will never eat again there. Would recommend any other place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alupuri is one of the iconic food from Surat with it's birth from Rander. What Vadapav is to Mumbai, Alupuri and Khaman is to Surat. They have 2 branches and I have visited both. Alupuri (₹10) has a deep fried Maida Puri with gravy based potato and peas sabzi, topped with kokum chutney and sliced onion. Finished with besan sev. Thats alupuri and its made live here. Fresh and tasty. Also tried their Rasawala Khaman which was not that tasty. Infact I found khaman was tastier itself without the rasa or gravy. Must visit for their live Alupuri.
