Temple timings All days Morning: 05:30 to 12:00 hours Evening : 16:30 to 21:00 hours A replica of the Sri Kanchi Kamakshi temple was constructed and consecrated on February 19, 2006. The Sanctum Sanctorium of the temple is similar to Sri Kanchi Kamakshi temple except that a Maha Meru Pratishta will be done instead of the Srichakra of Salagrama sila that Adi Sankara consecrated before Devi Kamakshi at Kanchi. The idol of the Goddess in the form of Rajarajeswari, in the sitting posture with four hands holding in them a bow of sugarcane, five flower arrows, noose and a goad respectively, is 5.8 ft. tall and was made at Kanchipuram by the sculptor Ramakrishna Stapathy. The sanctum Sanctorium will have 18 pillars and will be illuminated with natural ghee lamps. No electricity would be provided. To the right of the Devi murthi, there will be placed an idol of Tapas Kamakshi, with one foot fixed on the ground and the other bent to touch the navel, with the right hand kept on the heart and with matted lock on the head. Also carved on the wall of the sanctum sanatorium are the images of eight manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi.

The presiding deity of this Hindu temple is Devi Kamakshi. The architecture of this temple is similar to the temple at Kanchipuram the original abode of Kamakshi in Tamilnadu. Also in the compound is the giant and tall Anjaneya along with Ganesha and Lord Ramachandra. All poojas done as per Aagama styles. Another must visit Hindu temple in Navimumbai.

Located in the SIES educational complex , next to the 30 ft tall famous Hanuman statue temple . The building of the Kamakshi temple looks like as if built in stone . Visited and worshipped by Tamil population around.

Nerul is quiet famous for many temples. This is a very calm and Peaceful Place. Arulmigu Goddess Kamakshi Amman is so beautiful and can't take our eyes from her. The Temple is right inside the SIES College Complex. They also conduct poojas and Homams. We can give our name and star and also select the homam or Pooja we like to perform.Giant Hanuman Statue is so majestic. There are other sannidhis as well.Quiet spacious and good place to sit and medidate. There is a flower shop at the entrance. Must visit temple. The ambience and the positive Vibes we get right when we step inside the temple can't be explained in words. Do visit and get the blessings of the Divine Dieites.

Beautiful temple tucked away from the main road. The huge Hanuman statue is truly awesome. They seem to have homams etc. They need to have a way to disseminate that information so people can sponsor and participate. People should be able to call their number to get the details on upcoming homams from the gentleman at the desk. That is unfortunately not possible at this time.

Nice Hindu temple managed by Anjeneya trust. Temple is south Indian style with deities of Goddess Kamakshi as deity. Nearby there is also a huge Anjeneya statue. Drinking water arrangements and toilet facilities along with dedicated chappal racks are available. Overall it's a great place for worship.

The Kamakshi temple in Nerul is Uthra Kamakshi temple as there is another Kamakshi temple at Kanchipooram in South India ( Tamil Nadu). But when you visit this temple you will have a comple divine satisfaction as if you have visited the Kamakshi temple at Kanchipooram. When you see eye to eye of Kamakshi devi, you really feel blessed by the Goddess. A calm place where you can chant your mantra. It is located in Sector 5,Adi Shankracharya Marg, Near SIESCOMS College ,Nerul East . The temple is attached to Sies Commerce college ,Veda paat shala, Printing and Packaging Department, engineering department and Management College . I study in Engineering Department. I visit every day to this temple. Pooja is done in Traditional Way
