Until 1925, Shri Kasba Ganpati Mandal celebrated the festival within the premises of the temple and from 1926 it has been celebrated in an enclosed mandap. Presently, the ten days of the festival is a platform for local artists to display their talents through various cultural programs thus allowing a large number of devotees to participate in the celebrations. On the last day, Shri Kasba Ganpati plays the leading role during the immersion procession.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kasba Ganpati is one of the Manacha Ganpati in Pune. The temple is all made up of rocks the infrastructure is great.The Structure of the temple is simple yet strong. It has the devotional environment that make a peaceful moment for devotees.
There are some stairs that attract with its colors and the best part is it has huge setting arrangement around 100 people will be fitting there.
It has shoe stand that is outside which is free of cost.Overall great experience and Peaceful too.

Of the 5 Manache Ganpati, Shri Kasba Ganpati is accorded the highest importance. It is the local deity and leads the immersion proceedings (only after it's immersion, other immersions happen).
It has a historical significance as well - the temple was built under the orders of Rani Jijamata (mother of Shivaji Maharaj).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is first Ganesha of Pune. Called as मानाचा पहिला गणपती. Very famous and close to Punekars heart. Temple is also very nice. Both procession chaturthias well as chaturdashi in Ganesh festival are very nice and do not miss occasion at Pune.
