★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh. It is located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra.[1] It was originally built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. It is one of the richest temples in Mumbai.
The Siddhivinayak Mandir evolved from a small, tiny place of worship to the Grand Temple that stands today in the later half of the twentieth century.[citation needed] Temple glory was bought not only by the politicians who frequented the temple but also Bollywood film stars who continuously visit to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Tim CookApples CEO began his 2016 India trip with morning prayers at the temple.
Siddhivinayak is well known as "Navrachna Ganapati" or "Navasala Pavanara Ganapati" ('Ganapati bestows whenever humbly genuinely prayed a wish') among devotees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No parking facility. Entry only through app bookings. However the persons manning the entrances are manipulative. No Prasad or flowers allowed inside. But the stall owners outside the gate are still selling these things to the devotees only to be dropped outside the gate. The Trustees should display banners in this regards that please don't carry any offerings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reckoned as the most famous, and wealthiest temple in India, Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir at Prabhadevi (Mumbai) was originally built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. The temple is famous for its unusual image of Lord Ganesha that resides in the innermost wooden sanctum of the temple. The temple’s idol of Shree Siddhivinayak is carved out of a black stone with a trunk on the right. On the forehead of the deity, there is an eye, which looks exactly like the third eye of Lord Shiva. Flanking the deity on both sides are Riddhi & Siddhi, goddesses signifying sanctity, fulfillment, prosperity and riches. And it is because of these deities, the temple is called the Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit if you are in Mumbai. This Lord Ganeshji's temple has followers all over the World. It's special day is Tuesday, when there are long ques to enter the temple. Our long wait had ultimately been over, when we as a family visited the Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir in Mar'20 for the first time. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh and located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. The temple has a small mandap with the shrine for Siddhi Vinayak. The wooden doors to the temple are carved with images of the Ashtavinayak and the inner roof of the temple is plated with gold. There is a Hanuman temple as well within the temple premises. When we visited on a Friday morning, there was moderate crowd and we could conveniently offer the puja and darshan. Post puja, we bought Laddu prasad from the counter and visited the entire temple premises. The temple campus houses several shops, selling puja sweets (modak) and puja offering. Also, there are several shops selling effigy of Idols and Souvenir items. No visit in Mumbai is complete without visiting Siddhivinayak temple - Would like to revisit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great please of worship. There is rush, there is some disorder. But the ambience and devotion is far, far better than many other temples. Generally, people are happy if they have a glimpse of the lord. Minor discomforts are ignored. Same with this place.
Since the temple is provided great security because of the terror threats, devotees have to leave the mobiles apart.
