One of the oldest temple of God Ganesha, located in Titwala, approximately 10 mins by auto from Titwala Railway station. Temple have good enough space inside to have seat and take rest after pray. Best part which I like is washing of hands and legs prior entering to temple. The parking is available for Cars @30 rupees by KDMC and bike parking was free.

Visit to temple for the Darshan after many years, was surprised to see the amount of development and change in the Titwala township. Big change this time is we did not enter the inner sanctum the way we have been doing for many years since our childhood and had to do Darshan from outside. But one big change this time, it’s brightly lit and you can see the beautiful deity clearly and it was satisfying. ?? The temple surroundings are changed too, big parking lot for the private cars is spacious. All the shops are now located in once big area and did not see those horse carts we use to hire for our trips from railway station to temple and back.

This peaceful and Devine place situated 2 km from Titwala Railway Station (East). Timing to visit the temple is 5 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 8 pm. Place is very good having ample parking place if you visiting by your own vehicle. Brief History-By propitating Ganesh Idol, Consecrated by sage Kanva, Devi Shakuntala & king Dushyant came together after a long period of disagreement. Shakuntala & king Dushyant got married here only. Idol from Mahabharat period was vanished, while constructing lake peshwa saradar Ramchandra Mehendale got the present idol. The Madhavrao Peshwe consecrated this idol.

Amazing experience here. We visited this holy place on 31st December 2021. It's 125 km from Nashik. First 110km is Mumbai- Agra national highway. So road conditions are better. But last strech of 10-km is pathetic. There is no road at all. After the bridge over river we get better road. Ganesh Mandir is situated near Ganesh Talav. There is enough parking space for vehicles. When we visited there was not much crowd. We had very peaceful darshan. We roam around the place near Ganesh Talav. It was amazing experience. Ganesh Mandir is very beautifully maintained and it is very clean. All COVID protocols and followed here. You can buy garland and Prasad from outside vendors. There is enough space for 15-20 people inside Sabha mandapa to sit. Few benches are also placed for elderly people. It's truly a great experience to visit this holy place.
