Monday 09 February 2015 marked the sixth Patotsav of the magnificent Mandir that stands at the entrance of Surat called Sarthana, which was opened by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj in 2009.
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj travelled from Mumbai and reached Surat during the late evening of Thursday 5 February. A large group of Sants had travelled from Maninagar and were already in Surat to welcome Acharya Swamishree Maharaj.
As part of the Patotsav festivities, disciples held scripture recitals. Local dignitaries were also blessed by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj.
A special program of yoga, exercise, fun and games was held during the evening of Sunday 08 February.
On the Patotsav day, Acharya Swamishree performed the anniversary rituals to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, and then a grand annakut was offered.
