★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you believe in God, must visit here you can truly feel the power of the goddess. Lot many people come here , there is a rush specially on Tuesdays and Fridays. And in navratri all the premises is filled with people from all over the place. Some people just for darshan come from different and distance places. It's a word of mouth and many have experienced it that what ever wish they asked here with purity of heart has come true and so they again come to show the gratitude and get the blessings of the goddess Durga. It's a Shakti peeth. In navratri all nine days are full of holy atmosphere and there are many traditional rituals all the nine days. Starting from morning Abhishek at 6am, followed by aarti, then, group reading of Shaptsati text, which again is very helpful and power gaining medium specially in navratri time. The evening is taken care by various culture activities and followed by dandia. Dandia is played till late night. On the ninth day there is Maha Prasad that is food is being served for hundreds as a gesture and blessings from the goddess. Many individuals participate their bit in Maha Prasad. After that at midnight 12 milk is being served to whoever comes on kojagiri pournima as Prasad. The mandir is decorated with flowers and colorful lights in these days so the total atmosphere is very lively and energetic. The goddess Durga is dressed up with all different colored sarees on different days of navratri and all the females be it a small girl or an elderly lady follow the same color dressing in these days. It makes these nine days very colorful. It also depicts the women strength in the universe. Approach road is fissible for only two wheeler. Four wheeler parking is not available,you have to park your four wheeler outside the society premises on the road. Wheel chair access is possible, you can bring children they will enjoy a lot.and they will certainly get the blessings. So all together do come once.
