★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting the mandir since I was a kid. Every time my mother visits Shivaji Park she makes it a point to visit this Ganesh mandir and gets us prashad. The architecture of the temple os great and has a vintage look. The same was repaired a few years ago. Another amazing thing which I noticed is there is a water cooler just near the temple. Many people are using it and it is of great convenience which I always admire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The history of this temple is the idol miraculously appeared under a banyan tree in the year 1963 and the temple was established on 1st March 1970. The idol is of Bal Ganesh, with its trunk on the right side (Siddhivinayak) and has four hands, holding conch, laddu, tusk and gada. On either sides are idols of Riddhi-Siddhi and Laksha-Labh.
Peaceful place near Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park. Temple is made of sangmarmar stone, with great carvings.
