★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shri Chatrapati Sahakari Sakhar karkhana is one of oldest co-operative sugar plant in Maharashtra. Sugar production started in year 1957. Now there are two plants, old plant having crushing capacity upto 4000 Metric tons and new plant upto 6500 M tons. In year 2015 Starting of a cogeneration power plant of 18 MW capacity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: One of the biggest sugar producer company. It has good capacity for sugar and byproducts production.
Cons: This factory creates hell lot of air pollution for 6-8 months in every year. Carbon and ash falls from the air like a snow flakes. Very dusty environment in the nearby areas. Bullock carts are used for sugarcane transportation, oxes suffers a lot due to overloading of sugarcane and it's transportation.
