Very well maintained historic temple. The surrounding lake adds more beauty to its infrastructure. But, the lake should be cleaned daily to maintain its beauty since devotees come here. And devotees should take some responsibilities to keep its surrounding clean. Temple has great piece of architectural work done on inner and outer sides. But some architecture is damaged. Must visit in Beed.

Kankaleshwar temple — perhaps the oldest monument in the town, it has only one way to access which remains submerged in the water of its artificial lake most of the year. Best time to visit - The ideal time to visit the temple form the month of October to Marc

One of the best and beautiful temple in beed. Today morning I visited this temple and was amazed. Temple is built in black pillars completely. One cannot count those pillars. Temple is built in lake. One must visit this place.

It's an old heritage temple dated back to 100s of years. Nice calming place with an awesome view where the temple is surrounded by a pond. A must visit when you're in Beed.

The temple is a masterpiece of ancient Indian architecture surrounded by water on all sides. On the way to the temple, one has to cross a stone bridge over the water. Even in summer, the water does not run out completely. Once you visit, you feel the urge to visit this temple again. This temple is one of the places I want to visit frequently. There is a beautiful Shivling of Lord Mahadev in the center of the temple. Some people say that at centre of the temple underwater have a beautiful Shivling of Lord Mahadev that was seen by only 1 or 2 people in the world ? Har Har Mahadev ???
