Krishna rai temple also known as rathtala temple..very old and famous baishnab temple...the premise of this temple not quitely well maintained..needs to be renovation..very much crowded in "rath yatra" festival..easily accessible from kalyani or kanchrapara rly station..take a bus and get off rathtala bus stand and then 5-6 minute walking distance..overall nice place..must visit..

The locals call it Rathtala Temple, in the past it was there with a huge space. It was founded in 1785 by Nimai Charan and Gaur Charan Mallick. It is a historical place in Kalyani area. At present there is nothing left of this huge activity except the temple. The eight-story style temple is about 60 feet high. Beautiful terracotta work can be noticed in the temple. The main festival of the rath yatra here is the gathering of lots of fans at this time. There was a Dol moncha outside the temple but it is no longer usable now. You can come back here once. It is near Bagh more and the nearest railway station is Kancharapara.???
