★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest and the biggest housing societies on Kasturba Road No. 5. With over 48 flats, it boasts of many activites and festivities in the area. Amongst the first ones to start Public Navratri Garba in the area, it continues the tradition till date and has the highest number of visitors and garba dancers in the area. Most festivals are celebrated in the traditional manner including but not limited to Utran, Holi, Navratri, Diwali and New Years. Also one of the few societies with a large playground, Youngsters from all around come to play cricket with the members of the building which in themselves usually exceed 30. Others traditional games like Thappo, Sakli, Bhamedo (top) and Goti are also played seasonally.
The residents are very amicable and helpful. Truly and literally a "co-operative" housing society, neighbours are considered to be an asset and add a great value and richness to the experience of the institution called HOME.
It is, in a way, the trend setter building of Kasturba Road No. 5 and the surrounding area.
