Triund is at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges and is at a height of 2,828 m. Triund is the crown jewel of dharamshala , situated in the laps of dhauladhar mountains, it has the perfect view of the dhauladhar mountains on one side and kangra valley on the other. Triund is a very popular trekking spot . Triund attracts a lot of tourist every year from India and all over the world .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place. One can reach here only by tracking. From Mclaod Gunj to Triund 9km by walk. Then from Triund to Illaqua and then to Shri Kunal Pathri Temple. One can stay at Illaqua overnight before heading towards temple. Only one shop is at Illaqua where you can have Tea, Lunch & Dinner. Nothing is available at Temple site. It's advisable to hire local guide. You can only visit here from Mid April to December. Very few people visit this place. No electricity is available so plz donot plan without local guide.
