★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had gone to the ISKCON temple of Mayapur on 19 April, 2019. It took around 2: 30 hrs to get there from Howrah Station by train. The temple was very large. It is the global headquarters of ISKCON so it's expected. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful and the weather was also very pleasant. We had arrived there by 11 am. The Aarti was quite grand. There were so many devotees, many of them from other countries. We had lunch at the Gita Bhavan. It cost 50 rupees per person and the food was satisfactory. The people there are friendly and the campus is serene. They also teach some courses there such as cooking or the Bhagavad Geeta. We returned on the same day at 7 PM after watching the evening Aarti which starts at 6: 30 PM.
Overall it's a nice place to spend the weekend with your friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend a peaceful day. It's the place of Lord Krishna, and the birthplace of Lord Chaitanya. There is a lot of temple to see. Iskon will have the biggest temple of Lord krishna by 2022. The campus have lot of place to stay. Rooms available from Rs 250 - Rs 3540(AC).
Please remember its a religious place so you cannot smoke or drink or indulge in any sexual activity.
The food in iskon is grown within campus, so it's pure. Only veg is available, so fish, egg and meat is not available. Also dairy products are home grown as there is a huge cow shed with almost 400 cows.
Iskon is now building housing inside the campus for people, especially for devorties to stay there for life.
The place is good for a quick weekend outing, and for religious people it's a great place to get in touch of their spiritual side.

It is the main temple of ISKCON. The current age of this temple is 51 years. Puja-Katha begins and ends daily in this temple regularly and during the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best time to enjoy this place is during winters. There largest Iskcon Temple and many other maths are there. You can enjoy the prasad but have to have the patience to wait in a huge queue. There is Govinda restaurant and a scrumptious vegetarian meal can be enjoyed. You can buy dresses and gifts for your special ones.
