Shree Mayureshwar temple, Morgaon is the first temple in the Ashtavinayak Ganpati yatra. Located in Morgaon close to Jejuri, this is an ancient temple. There are other templed like Lord Shiva, Hanuman, Navagraha in the temple compound. The temple gives a sense of peace and calm, serene atmosphere. Always recommended to begin the Ashtavinayak yatra from this temple.

A number of devotees flock to this Ganesha temple which is one of the Ashtavinayak temples in Maharashtra. The temple is said to be built in the 18th century during the Peshwa period. The temple complex is huge, with an equally huge nandi (sacred bull) and a mouse (vehicle of Ganesha) outside the sanctum. There is also ample parking place available in the vicinity of the temple. Apart from the main temple, there are a number of smaller temples around it, which are much older. One of the temples is located near the highway, which has more than 20 hero stones lying. A special procession (palkhi) takes place here on the new moon day in June, called Somvati Amavasya!

Very beautiful and peaceful temple. If you are visiting in peak season/holiday season, then prepare for at least an hour in the queue. When you enter the main temple you get enough time for darshan. No one will push or hurry. Parking spaces are available around. Bhaktanivaas and a good restaurant is also available for food/Veg thali system. Overall comfortable visit and devine experience.

Mayureshwar of moregaon, pune is one of the ashtavinayak located in Maharashtra. Road from Pune-Baramati-moregaon-jujeri is superb well maintained. Best time to visit temple if you dont want to face crowd then weekdays except Tuesday. I visited on Wednesday and sitted in temple for 1 hour without obstruction by Security guards. You can get Private room for one night at 500-700 rs only(Non-AC). Jejuri is 17 km away from moregaon.

Morgaon (Mayureshwar) is very first Ganpati Mandir to start your astavinayak trip!!! 61 Kilometers from Pune. If you are starting Astavinayak Darshan from Pune, suggest to start as early as possible like 6am or there abouts plus minus 30 mins... You will be able to cover first 5 गणपती मंदिर in Astavinayak by starting early on day 1.

Good experience, Good COVID 19 precautions are observed, no mask no entry is the key here. You can get Darshan in average 5-10 mins on weekdays it may be 15-20+mins on weekends. Decent and nearby parking place is available on paid basis. You can contribute desired amount to temple for any spiritual events on your behalf. You can reach this place by road which is most convenient, it's surrounded by highways

Shree Moreshwar temple is one among the Ashtavinayak Ganpati. Very Peaceful and Devine place to visit. Darshan line is covered well & look is given as ancient, it's made of wood, so in hot season also it doesn't really bother to stay in line for some time. Darshan happens within half hour, nobody pushes you and make hurry to go ahead in queue. There's nearby parking provision on paid basis. It's approximately 18 km from Jejuri, by road its hardly 20 minutes. You can devote some money for things to be maintained in good conditions. There's अन्नछत्र / महाप्रसाद provision from 12 to 2 pm and the food is very good.

Very nice temple. First temple from where ashtavinayak yatra starts. One of the ashtavinayakas. All covid protocols are followed here. It is around half an hour from jejuri and around 1 and half hour journey from Pune. Outside temple there is a parking for 2 wheelers as well as 4 wheelers.
