★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visit this temple every day without fail.In our times a boy or girl was christened with a name which had a background of planetary positions at the time of birth.My name was accordingly named as CHANDRASHEKHAR meaning thereby that a boy who is bestowed by moon .God Mrutyunjayeshwar means Lord SHANKAR.He is reverred by every Indian and hence I also prey before him and seek his blessings for everybody.
This temple is a historic one built at the time when Peshwas ruled from Pune.I will attach a photo of the information about the temple in Marathi languege spoken locally-Pune.

The temple is premises is surrounded with huge trees. Even though it might be hot and humid outside, the temple from inside is cool. A cool breeze in the temple, rejuvenates your mind. The flower vendor outside the temple have a lot of fresh flowers & a soothing smell from those fresh flowers will definitely tempt you to buy some of those flowers from them. Overall its a really good experience.This is a famous temple in Pune situated on the Karve Road. The place is easily accessible. The beautiful Shiva Linga in the sanctum of the temple is the main attraction here. Devotees believe that this entire area is having the presence of Lord Shiva.The beautiful garden around the temple is yet another turn on.
