S	Suhas Manjunath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abode of Sri Shanaishchara. Shingnapur is also famous for the fact that no house in the village has doors, only door frames. Despite this, officially no theft was reported in the village although there were reports of theft in 2010 and 2011. The temple is believed to be a "jagrut devasthan" (lit. "alive temple"), meaning that a deity still resides in the temple icon. Villagers believe that god Shani punishes anyone attempting theft. The deity here is "Swayambhu" (Sanskrit: self-evolved deity) that is self emerged from earth in form of black, imposing stone. Though no one knows the exact period, it is believed that the Swayambhu Shanaishwara statue was found by shepherds of the then local hamlet. It is believed to be in existence at least since the start of Kali Yuga. The village has a post office and a high school known as Shri Shanishwar Vidya Mandir besides the primary schools run by the Zilla Parishad. The chief source of water supply in the village is wells.
p	pabba Anirudh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this temple few times. As of now(2021), no devotee is allowed to go near to lord shaneswara idol. All the offerings must be done at specific spots allocated in the queue. Photography is prohibited in the temple. During normal days, it takes around 10 mins for Darshan. It is located 72 km away from Shirdi.

The temple is good, but as soon you enter into temple area there is big looters gang will be waiting for you, they first take car parking charge from you then they follow you and introduce the shops outside temple,, The shop keeper is well trained, he somehow convince you to purchase pooja materials which includes the followings, 1) Garlen of pan leaves - You have to put this on trishul to overcome with your problems 2) Black piece of cloths - To put in thrishul 3) Flowers 4) Metal piece 1- To place in your wallet 5) Metal piece 2 - To place in your Money cubord 6) Small iron god's idol 7) Oil, Agarbhattis For these items he he will charge you 750rs, The same materials also available for 100rs at the road side vendors. Don't go near to these shops they will definitely loot your money, Purchase the pooja materials from the road side vendors Hope you like my comment Don't forget to like my comment.
