The temple has a Banyan tree (Bargad ka ped) which is claimed to be of more than 100 years old. The temple is very old and needs some repair and repainting works. People come here to not only to worship but also for marriage related activity. Every year, during Shivratri festival a Yagya is arranged by the temple committee. A fair is also organised during the festival.
