Offer your prayers at the temple and then take a stroll through the weekend market, feasting on the various breakfast repasts available, or simply sip a hot chai, enjoy a bowl fresh sprouts salad or buy the fresh fruits and vegetables brought to you straight from the fields and farms!

On weekends, it's a feast for lovers of organic fresh vegetables and fruits.. And others household 'gharguti' products, like papa's, chutney, ghee, etc. You even get Solapuri dried jwaari/baajri bhaakris & shenga/jawas chutneys.. Its a wonderful place..! I don't miss any Sunday mornings at Taljai!
Temple has its own beauty, with Goddesses Taljai, Padmavati and Bhavani in one sacred place, surrounded by lush green Taljai forests!

Peacock sighting is almost always inevitable along with many birds.
Walk is pleasurable more so on a Sunday when it's like a fair.
Your breakfast is taken care of by umpteen stalls outside the forest area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant place to visit special in the morning hours when sun rises. It is situated on hill top and gives mesmerizing and spectacular view of sun rise. Many many people come to this point daily morning for jogging, walking, pranayam, yogasons. It has reserve forest type area, commonly refered as 'Taljai Tekedi' by locals, exactly back side to it where you can opt in for morning and evening walk. This place house for many peacocks and rabbits. It as small pond inside where you will find beautiful white ducks and artificial elephant.Muct visit spot.
Care To Take - Since its an isolated location, it is suggested not to stay here after sun set/late evening hours. Many robbery and chain snatching had happened here in past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road leading upto the temple is well made and is quite great for cycling, running and/or walking, especially in the morning. The place where the temple is quite beautiful. There is also place where people meditate or work out. Good place to hang out with friends and family.
Also, trek enthusiasts can enjoy the Parvati-Taljai trekking route which kinda goes through a jungle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a trail walk of 15 km. Although the whole trail might not be this lengthy. We went different routes and arrived at the main gate. The trail would be much better in monsoon and also early morning. One can go to Parvati temple from the start point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place.. Unexpected in pune city... Behind the temple there is forest zone where you can go for morning and evening walk .. Such peaceful place. Well Maintained.. It has washroom gents and Female both... It is also suitable for photo shoots like pre wedding or model shoot.. The timing of forest zone is 5 to 9 am and 3 to 7 pm.. There is no entry charges.. Out side the gate it has amusement park and so many food stalls.. Suitable for kids.. Must go..
