Quite a nice mandir. No crowds, at least when I went there. On the bank of a lake. Close to the station, walkable distance. Monsoons or just after might be the right time to come here. At least two water falls nearby, also the greenery of the ghats.

There's big divine guardian of shiva- नन्दि(Shiva's vehicle) Or कूर्म(tortoise- vishnu avatar),surrounded by mountains and greenery!
