★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You are a musician, anything broken or not working properly, than that's a good place for nearly all kind of repairs in a fair price and they are really skilled . So that's really good place ,timing are office hours (maybe not sure 10am to 5pm,Monday to Saturday).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have done a repair work of my Yamaha psr 1100 from this service centre few days back. Work was done satisfactory but the charges are overpriced as per my knowledge. Overall the place is shady and grumpy with poor customer service. Yamaha should have looked after their only service centre in Eastern India better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its facade and counter showed a declinIng business in these epidemic days . Still knowing it to be the only Yamaha service centre for keyboards in Kolkata, I drove nearly 15 kms with my two old Yamaha keyboards - one primary model no PSR 170 and another more advanced version E 403 -first one was not always working properly and second bigger keyboard had one basic problem of giving out very low sound in its keyboard speakera ( though full sound emitted through external amplifier ).I requested them to check and repair the first one immediately .They checked and identified nearly 10 keys as non working and estimated cost was given at Rs 2400/- for replacement of defective keys only , that is, without repair of any other section like voice, rhythm etc. Naturally,I did not give consent for a partial repair for such a primary lowcost model and took it back.The E403 was taken for checking and a week's time was asked for for giving a repair estimate .That period somehow extended to 10 days and even after such a long wait ,at Iast I was informed that keyboard was beyond repair!I drove back again to take back my keyboard.
Here are further facts
1.The PSR 170 is now working fine on mains & all keys except only the extreme right one and controls are working fine without any repair (though its basic problem of non-working on batteries remains)!
2 Another keyboard repair centre I found on net ,took 3 days to check and give estimate for my same E403 model. It took just another day to repair it and at a very reasonable cost.
Am I not supposed to feel cheated!
I add one star to the single star rating it actually deserves - as thankfully, I was not charged anything for checking two keyboards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authorized Yamaha Musical Instruments service center. Really helpful reception with detailed problem identification. Guided me à lot about what to and what not. Loved the center and definitely will go there going forward if any further problem arise in future.
Just a note for all: Service charge is 1200 Rs for keyboards.
