I had a very simple query.... so I have called.... but the person who have picked the phone was so rude......without listening to my query he simply had started shouting on me.........Such kind of government employee we had......After getting a job as they have no fear of being sacked...they simply forget their duties.......

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aadhaar enrolment and update available here from 11:30 AM to 3:30 pm. Do stand in at 11:30 to get verified the documents and take time as per your Serial Number. Daily 30-50 aadhar is enrolled or updated. Good service, even you can get railway ticket here. India Post is a government operated postal system in India, which is under the jurisdiction of Department of Post, Ministry of Communications of the Government of India. Generally called "the Post Office" in India, it is the most widely distributed postal system in the world. Warren Hastings had taken initiative under East India Company to start the Postal Service in the country in 1766. It was initially established under the name "Company Mail". It was later modified into a service under the Crown in 1854 by Lord Dalhousie. Dalhousie introduced uniform postage rates (universal service) and helped to pass the India Post Office Act 1854 which significantly improved upon 1837 Post Office act which had introduced regular post offices in India. It created the position Director General of Post for the whole country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All kinds of postal services are available here for the people. From Speed Post to Aadhaar Updation - everything is done. But the PO lacks proper maintenance. Dogs and cats roam around. Proper sanitation should be done for a cleaner environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all it is not Shibpur Post office as mentioned in the map.It is Botanic Garden post office. It is situated in 1st gate of botanical garden..It's on the main road , clearly visible and you can easily park your bike and cycle in the post office premises..Staffs are very good and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all the name of the post office written on the Google map is wrong. The actual name is Botanical Garden Post Office not Shibpur Post Office.

Electricity bill deposit for CESC,
Postal insurance service,

Aadhar card modification etc.
There are four different window for different services and there is a help desk.
Indian Railway ticket booking counter is open 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Maximum 20 number of people can apply for Aadhar card modification in a single dey. And the charge for Aadhar card modification is 50 rupees.
