Here goddess Kali is main idol. 1 st day of bengali new year, here thousands of devotee come and make their own account book of business. This also happens in Akshaya tritiya, which is near about after 10 to 15 days of 1st Baishakh. This temple is not maintain by any govt. authority, it is purely a private and family oriented temple.

Many time in everyday the kali murti is worshipped.Saturday and Twesday we can find more people in temple. In occasion time the temple stay mostly crowded. The whole temple is under CCTV surveillance. No one can use mobile in mandir premises. If is found to use mobile phone any one he/she wiil be punished by temple othority.???????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the oldest and populous Goddess Kali temple in central Howrah near Kalibabur Bazar. The image is made of kastipathar ( one type of earth's crust). It is a rare and remarkable image. The area of the temple is very small but it is admired by many people. Always it is surrounded by a large number of devotees gathered together. It is difficult to take a clear pic. Puja is held in every day. Special puja is offered on every dark moon day. The temple is caused jam in the Netaji Subash Road. A long queue of devotees is seen on the Bengali new year's day, Akshaya Tritiya, Amabachi, Shyama puja day etc. Now two families Ganguly and Banerjee are sevaites (puja organizer) of the temple. The sevaites donate in Adyapeath charitable Ashram at Dakhineswar and other Ashrams regularly.
