A stalwart of Silverline, Dr. Mangala Vaid holds to her credit a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Honors, Master’s Degree in Zoology, Master’s Degree in Education, Advance Level Diploma in Computer Programming and a Diploma in French Language. She has been awarded PhD for her Research work in the field of Education; main focus of the study being development of Integrated Curriculum, which has been successfully put into practice.

Dr. Vaid, is a well-read gifted orator, and a very charming and sociable person. She is an empathetic Leader who believes in inclusivity and has commendably contributed to the credibility of the institution with committed services since 1992.

She handles School Operations at different levels for all branches as Director Operations beside working in the capacity of Vice Principal of the Senior Secondary Branch.

She pioneered Computer education in school way back in 1992, one of the first in the entire Region, and initiated the use of technology integration in education and encouraged the teachers to become computer savvy and enhance their traditional teaching methods. Silverline is proud to have developed Computer textbook series for classes I-VIII, ‘The Mousecap’ under her able guidance. These books have been published and received generous appreciation for their level of content and also adopted by many schools as standard text books.

Dr. Vaid is the Chairperson of the International School Award Committee, which is responsible for planning and co-ordination of the activities for collaborative learning with schools of other countries. She supervises the advanced Online School Management System to update parents and all stakeholders with new initiatives, student’s day to day assignments, important notifications and information.

Along with her team, Dr. Vaid successfully brought about smooth and rapid transition of whole school from Offline to Online classes. With active support of Management, she seamlessly interfaced with external Experts, Teachers, Students and Parents for introducing global tech tools and a unique curriculum which has brought Silverline to the forefront as most progressive Institution. A stickler for Quality and Perfection she is also actively pursuing Professional Development of Staff to get trained for progressive pedagogies, moving from marks-based approach to skill-based approach. She keeps herself updated to stay ahead of the curve and acts as an active resource person, constantly interacting with various organizations to collaborate for special projects.

Dr. Vaid has a natural knack to connect energetically with the new generation. She uses it to add value in traditional education and at the same time preparing children to become responsible modern Global citizens equipped with universal human values and leadership attributes along with futuristic 21st century skill sets.
