★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service. The owners barely sit here anymore. The shop is run by extremely rude staff who don't show the minimum ounce of respect to their customers. I wanted to buy a particular sweet today. When I saw them giving it in a paper bag I requested for a proper sweet box like they give the other sweets in. They promptly said that I'll have to pay extra for the box. I asked them why as it's not the case when you buy any other sweet, to which they said since this sweet comes in paper bag so to get a box I have to pay extra. I agreed to it. However when I got the printed receipt, I couldn't see the extra packaging cost there. I immediately brought it up to which I faced extremely rude response from the staff. I had to leave the place as I was in a rush. But I really want to meet the owners to discuss why such discrepancy. Rest assured, I'm not going back there although the shop is right in front of my house. I've been going there since the time when their father would run the shop and I was a toddler. But no more. I hope the owners take note of this review and take appropriate actions in the future so that they don't lose their clientel day by day.

Even if you don't like sweets, they also offer kachoris and samosas and dhoklas, all best in class.
If you are headed for a road trip or organising a house party, make sure to get a quick stop, and load up on Munchies.
Personally, every time I am in town, my plate always contain one or two sweets, directly from their counter.
Imagine your great grandma passing on the recepies as well as the ingredients to you, imagine her recepie's secret ingredient (love) in abundance, and imagine your whole family laughing and giggling at the dinner table, this is what everything from SRMB tastes like.
You can't go wrong, if you go with Sitaram Mistanna Bhandar.
