★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sree Parvathi sametha Parameswara Swamy temple is located in pedavegi village of west godavari district. The area in which this ancient temple is present was once known as vengi kshetram. This area was ruled by Eastern chalukyas and they developed vengi puram as their capital. Several ancient sculptures unearthed during excavations in and around vengipuram by archeology department are seen displayed in this temple premises.
