★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We planned to visit the famous Kotilingeswara Temple located at a distance of 85 kms from Bangalore. We started early in the morning to see the temple. The way goes through Hosakote and Bangarpet. The road is nice with paddy fields, coconut and banana groves. On the wayside just before we reached Bangarpet. We noticed a fine restaurant with neat surroundings and garden inside. The S.N.Resort established in 2009 is a very well-known restaurant for many tourists going towards Kolar and Kotilingeswara temple. The room inside the restaurant is neat and well-maintained, though not much showy and decorated. The attendants and servers are quite friendly and prompt in their duties. Here one can order typical Karnataka dishes like Thatta Idli, Bisibella Bath, Dosa and vada. One can also get north Indian dishes. The food items are served neatly in plates covered with banana leaves. There is no difficulty in communication as the people know kannada, Telugu and Hindi. The rates are also reasonable. The restaurant is conveniently located just on the left side of the main road. There is parking space and a beautiful garden. Just adjoining the restaurant there is a big hotel providing lodging and boarding facilities. We enjoyed our breakfast there. While returning from the temple we stopped to have our lunch also. This is a very nice restaurant providing tasty dishes, neatly served in plates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for marriages expecting floating crowd of about 1000 people if managed well, accessibility as it is attached to the main road, rooms are bit decent not bad. But can find good rooms within walkable distance from the place.
