" They will showcase you selling original, but mix it with fake and inferior quality local replicas " I literally hated buying from this shop. I had no idea about this shop and was recommended by Godrej sales company, when I had to buy door handles and latches. Unfortunately, the company gave me number of sales manager who recommended this shop. Needless to say, I was duped. The company has a sales executive that sits there and knows nothing about the product. The shop is not an exclusive Godrej shop and they themselves recommend not to buy Godrej ( I later found out, it is the higher margin they earn on other non brands). Their story..Godrej doesn't manufacture anything, they just import products put a stamp and sell. It is the brand that people come for. However, people go to a brand for the quality standards they develop. The interesting fact here is when you shortlist a product and want to buy..they have a small warehouse inside the shop where they dismantle all packing and sell individual items separate. I bought the same product from a different shop and it was all wonderfully packed in one box. Like any other shopper, I told myself what am I to do with packaging, however only at the time of installation the carpenter pointed out that the two products mismatch and one is of inferior quality whereby it got broken during installation. When I went to show to the shopkeeper the manufacturing defect, they said we sell and don't take responsibility of anything! You should contact manufacturer. Well okaye, I asked them to give me another piece of the same series since my carpenter is already at site and thank god, I showed them the manufacturing defect in the brand new piece that they were selling.. Again, by this time the other shoppers also noticed my point and asked the owner to show the original packing..it was missing.. The shopkeepers were mixing it with poor quality fake lids. I do not recommend anyone buying from this shop, not only you loose your time and money you also loose your peace of mind for the brand. It is agonizing to note the company sales teams also favoring the shopkeepers since they get business for them and not the customers peace.
